Job summary

CGS is seeking a Discovery IT System Administrator to join the Legal department in a full-time executive-level role. The position focuses on ensuring availability and performance of electronic discovery tools and supporting a government-focused portfolio.

The role involves administering systems, monitoring performance, securing data, and collaborating with vendors and stakeholders to implement fixes and improvements in cloud and on-prem environments.

Qualifications

• Experience with electronic discovery tools and EDRM.
• Ability to install, operate, and manage Windows Server environments (2019/2022) and Microsoft SQL Server (2019/2022).
• Knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure, AWS) and virtualization.

Responsibilities

• Ensure day-to-day availability of electronic discovery applications and tools.
• Administer and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure; install, configure and maintain OS and software.
• Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and work with vendors to implement fixes.
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
• Assist in technical architecture discussions and design decisions.
• Develop training for end-users and provide SME guidance on discovery tools.
• Document as-is architecture of legacy apps and translate business requirements into technical specs.
• Support integration and migration activities for discovery applications.
• Contribute to Knowledge Management with technical articles.
