Legacy Legal Recruiting LLC in Atlanta seeks a detail-oriented Discovery Clerk to support a Property & Casualty team. You will manage high-volume discovery workflows, draft and organize requests and responses, and ensure deadlines are met while supporting attorneys and staff.

The role emphasizes accurate document handling, transfer and formatting per firm standards, and collaboration with internal teams to assemble deposition materials, with opportunity in a fast-paced legal environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a law firm setting (litigation support, legal assistant, or discovery clerk).
• Experience with Property & Casualty or insurance litigation matters preferred.
• Strong understanding of the discovery process and litigation timelines.
• Ability to manage a high-volume workload and meet strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys and litigation staff with all phases of the discovery process.
• Draft, organize, and manage discovery requests and responses, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.
• Maintain and track discovery deadlines to ensure timely responses and compliance.
• Review, organize, and summarize incoming discovery materials and records.
• Coordinate document collection, production, and formatting in accordance with firm and client standards.
• Manage and maintain accurate case files within the firm’s document management system.
• Handle high-volume data entry and document uploads related to discovery.
• Communicate with internal teams to gather necessary information for discovery responses.
• Assist with preparing materials for depositions, hearings, and trial as needed.
