Job summary

Grace Church in Wisconsin is seeking a Pastor of Discipleship and Worship to lead our discipleship pathways and worship ministry. The role collaborates closely with the senior pastor to shepherd our congregational life and to develop leaders across all ages.

The ideal candidate will have a ministry degree or equivalent, EFCA credential or plan, and a track record of growing disciples and volunteering teams. This role includes preaching, teaching, and occasional worship leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven experience multiplying disciple-makers
• Developing leaders and recruiting volunteers
• Relating well to people and families in a church setting
• Ability to lead corporate worship and train worship teams
• Alignment with Grace Church membership commitments and EFCA beliefs

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop people and processes for effective discipleship across all ages
• Serve as a spiritual resource for parents on biblical household application
• Support youth and family ministry leaders in program development and volunteer recruitment
• Provide training, resources, and instruction for youth, family, and worship ministry leaders
• Encourage spiritual gifts and intergenerational ministry within the body
• Lead music in worship services as needed (~1x/month) and train worship volunteers
• Preach up to 12 times per year and collaborate with the senior pastor
• Shepherd the congregation in partnership with the elders and senior pastor
• Fulfill responsibilities assigned by the elders and leadership team
