Job summary

Calvary PSL in Port Saint Lucie seeks a Discipleship Coordinator to cultivate welcoming, connected environments and guide people from attenders to engaged members along the church's discipleship pathway.

You will recruit and train leaders, manage discipleship environments and online postings, coordinate baptism and communion experiences, and collaborate with Assimilation and other ministries to ensure clear next steps.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in discipleship, small groups, or ministry leadership.
• Proven ability to lead and develop leaders and volunteers.
• Experience leading and participating in discipleship environments.
• Strong organizational, communication, and relational skills.
• Ability to build systems while maintaining a relational ministry approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Director in recruiting, training, and developing leaders, facilitators, and volunteers for classes and groups.
• Manage online platform where Discipleship Environments are posted, and ensure information is correct and up to date.
• Develop and maintain systems for registration, tracking participation, and measuring engagement.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate discipleship opportunities across ministries.
• Coordinate with the Guest Experiences team to ensure smooth baptism and communion experiences.
