Lake Sharon Community Church, Corinth, seeks an Associate Pastor to provide spiritual leadership, pastoral care, and administrative oversight to support the Lead Pastor and advance the church’s mission of making disciples.

The role emphasizes shepherding the congregation, developing discipleship pathways, and ensuring operational continuity, with a heartfelt commitment to spiritual growth within the LSCC community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Master of Divinity from an accredited seminary, Bible college or recognized theological institution, or in that educational path.
• Experience in church leadership is preferable (2 years minimum).

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead pastor in developing and implementing a comprehensive discipleship strategy for LSCC.
• Implement and oversee the plan for disciple-making through all age group ministries.
• Provide oversight and encouragement for volunteer groups and ministries.
• Assist the lead pastor in providing pastoral care for the needs of the church body, including biblical counseling, spiritual guidance, hospital and home visitation.
• Support those engaged in the work of disciple making.
• Plan and implement an outreach strategy for this congregation into the community surrounding LSCC.
• Preach and teach as needed.
• Provide administration for day-to-day life of LSCC including property management, calendaring, and congregation communication.
• Assist in planning and overseeing the annual calendar.
