Job summary

Green Level Baptist Church is seeking an Associate Pastor for Disciple-Making. This full-time, salaried role focuses on unifying practices that engage guests, mature disciples, and equip members to become effective disciple-makers, while mobilizing the church to proclaim the gospel locally and globally.

You will partner with staff and volunteers, sharing biblical teaching, pastoral care, and leadership responsibilities alongside the Senior Pastor to nurture a healthy, mission-driven congregation.

Qualifications

• Meets pastoral qualifications listed in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1.
• Affirm and effectively teach biblical doctrine in accordance with BF&M 2000.
• M.Div. (or equivalent) required (in progress considered).
• Minimum 3 years full-time pastoral experience including teaching, discipleship, pastoral care, and church leadership.
• Strong organizational, time management, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage Guests: Ensure a welcoming culture, implement consistent follow-up, and provide clear pathways for engagement, faith and membership
• Disciple Members: Develop and strengthen discipleship pathways and leaders with a unified approach across all ages and life stages
• Equip Disciple-Makers: Establish a cohesive process to equip members as effective disciple-makers through teaching, training, and practical opportunities
• Mobilize for Mission: Develop a cohesive strategy and strengthen mission partnerships to equip and mobilize members individually and collectively to proclaim the gospel from our neighborhoods to the nations
• Pastoral Duties: Assist with spiritual leadership, biblical teaching, pastoral care, and other pastoral responsibilities alongside the Senior Pastor
