Job summary

LifePoint Church in Ozark, Missouri is seeking a Community Life Minister to oversee adult discipleship, assimilation, and engagement—guiding guests toward meaningful community and spiritual maturity.

The ideal candidate will be a mature relational shepherd, a strong connector, and a capable trainer who can strengthen systems during a season of growth while collaborating with Elders and staff to maintain churchwide alignment.

Qualifications

• Mature, relational shepherd with significant discipleship ministry experience.
• Strong connector who engages guests, members and volunteers.
• Capable trainer who can equip leaders without over-programming ministry.
• Collaborative implementer to strengthen systems during growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead adult discipleship and community ministries in line with LifePoint’s mission.
• Oversee Community Groups, Men’s and Women’s Ministries, classes, Explore LifePoint, and Navigation.
• Create clear next steps for guests, new believers and members.
• Recruit, train, and multiply volunteer leaders.
• Collaborate with Elders, staff and ministry leaders for alignment.
• Preach, teach, and provide pastoral care as needed.
• Develop ministry budgets, plans, communication, and operational systems.
