Job summary

LifePoint Church in Ozark, Missouri is seeking a Community Life Minister to lead adult discipleship, assimilation, and community engagement ministries. The role focuses on moving guests to meaningful connection, Christ-centered community, and spiritual maturity, with emphasis on Scripture, prayer, relationships, and simple, reproducible discipleship.

• A mature, relational shepherd with significant discipleship ministry experience.
• Strong connector who naturally engages guests, members, and volunteers.
• Capable trainer who can equip leaders without over-programming ministry.
• Collaborative implementer who can strengthen systems during growth.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Community Groups, Men’s and Women’s Ministries, adult classes, Explore LifePoint, Navigation, assimilation pathways, and community engagement.
• In the first 12–18 months, clarify discipleship pathways, strengthen group life, develop volunteer leaders, improve follow-up for guests and new members, and help adults take their next step with Christ.
• Lead adult discipleship and community ministries in alignment with LifePoint’s mission and vision.
• Oversee Community Groups, Men’s and Women’s Ministries, classes, Explore LifePoint, and Navigation.
• Create clear next steps for guests, new believers, new members, and adults seeking deeper connection.
• Recruit, train, encourage, and multiply volunteer leaders.
• Collaborate with Elders, staff, and ministry leaders to maintain churchwide alignment.
• Preach, teach, and provide pastoral care as needed.
• Develop ministry budgets, plans, communication, and operational systems with wisdom and stewardship.
