Job summary

BMS CAT in Colorado Springs is seeking a motivated Restoration Technician to perform detailed cleaning, sanitation, and site preparation on residential, commercial, and industrial projects involving mold remediation, water damage restoration, and fire/smoke cleanup.

You will follow safety protocols, operate containment barriers, HEPA equipment, and document daily activities. Training is provided; strong physical stamina and reliable transportation are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning, sanitation, or remediation preferred.
• Willingness to follow safety protocols and learn on the job.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed cleaning, wiping, HEPA vacuuming, and debris removal in remediation work zones.
• Set up and maintain containment barriers, negative air machines, HEPA scrubbers, and dehumidifiers.
• Conduct pre-clean and post-clean sanitation in accordance with IICRC and company standards.
• Safely handle and dispose of contaminated materials following environmental/regulatory guidelines.
• Load-in/load-out of equipment, tools, and materials.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, vehicles, and equipment to ensure a professional environment.
• Follow all PPE requirements and safety procedures as instructed by supervisors.
• Document daily work activities, including photos, material usage, and equipment tracking.
• Assist with odor removal, surface decontamination, and antimicrobial application as needed.
• Uphold professionalism when interacting with customers and on-site personnel.
