Job summary

BMS CAT in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead residential and commercial reconstruction projects from start to finish, ensuring on-time delivery, adherence to budget, and top-quality restoration.

You will coordinate with subcontractors, in-house trades, property managers, and insurers, manage schedules and job costs, perform quality control, and communicate progress with clients. A valid driver's license and hands-on restoration experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years hands-on experience managing insurance reconstruction, remodel, or new construction as a Project Manager, Superintendent, or Supervisor
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in various phases of construction
• Solid understanding of residential buildings systems (framing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical) and finish trade sequencing
• Proven ability to build and manage schedules, buyout and coordinate trades, and perform jobsite quality control and punch-out
• Experience managing job-level financials including budgeted and actual expenses, gross margin targets, and change order control
• Ability to conduct site walks, climb ladders, and work in active construction environments
• Strong organizational skills and team-oriented mindset
• Possess client-facing skills to communicate effectively with all involved parties throughout reconstruction
• Experience working with time and materials
• Valid driver’s license with a stellar driving record
• Xactimate estimating (highly preferred)
• Contractor’s license (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Oversee residential and commercial reconstruction projects from start to finish
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Interact daily with subcontractors, in-house trades, property managers, and insurance professionals
• Build and manage project schedules and coordinate trades
• Conduct site walks and ensure safety and quality on site
• Manage job-level financials including budgeted and actual expenses and change orders
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders throughout the reconstruction process
