Job summary

ServiceMaster DSI in Rockford, IL seeks an Estimator/Project Manager to oversee residential and commercial losses from fire, water, mold, and disasters. Build client relationships, manage projects with a Superintendent, and supervise contractors from start to finish.

The role requires sales and project management experience in disaster restoration, with travel as needed; salary ranges and bonus eligibility are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in restoration and construction.
• Experience with Xactimate.
• Prior disaster mitigation estimating experience.
• Attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to travel out of town.
• Pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Support and implement the Company’s Project Quality Planning and Control process.
• Initiate and maintain liaison with clients to facilitate successful project execution.
• Establish project objectives, procedures and performance standards.
• Monitor and control construction through the on-site Superintendent to ensure schedule and budget.
• Evaluate progress and team performance to ensure projects stay on schedule and budget.
• Manage financial aspects of contracts reporting.
• Identify potential legal problems and review with Branch Manager.
• Oversee project close-out and client meetings.
• Provide technical assistance to project team and identify new opportunities.
