Job summary

Insurcomm Restoration, part of Fortify Companies, seeks a Mitigation Project Manager to lead emergency restoration projects for homes and businesses in Stow, MA.

You will own the project lifecycle from inspection to final walkthrough, create accurate estimates, coordinate with crews and insurance adjusters, and drive on-time, on-budget outcomes with hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in restoration, mitigation, or related construction.
• Ability to scope losses and write accurate estimates.
• Strong understanding of insurance restoration processes.
• Proven leadership and project management experience.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple active projects.
• Willingness to obtain additional certifications (Mold, Fire, OSHA, etc.).
• Must be able to participate in On-Call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect losses and determine scopes and costs.
• Prepare detailed estimates for restoration losses.
• Manage approx. $1M+ in annual project volume.
• Coordinate with insurance adjusters and clients on scope and pricing.
• Define project scope, inclusions/exclusions, and finished results.
• Obtain signed contracts and close restoration-related sales.
• Develop production budgets and pre-plan jobs.
• Coordinate daily production with the Project Coordinator.
• Oversee all production and quality control on assigned projects.
• Conduct final walkthroughs with Crew Chiefs.
• Track change orders, billings, and accounts receivable support.
• Maintain weekly estimates-in-progress reporting.
• Attend weekly update meetings with A/R and management.
• Ensure daily PSA documentation with detailed file notes.
