Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of professional experience in a construction supervisory role.
• Understanding of HUD CDBG-DR regulations, compliance, and reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Located in Matagorda County/Brazoria County, Texas.
• Oversee all aspects of CDBG-DR projects, including scheduling manpower, procuring tools and materials, securing permits, and ensuring HUD/local regulatory compliance.
• Conduct detailed residential inspections to establish scopes of work, document repairs, and verify CDBG-DR compliance with photos, scope notes, checklists.
• Inspect all areas of homes (interior, exterior, crawlspaces, attics, roofs) for quality and adherence to specifications.
• Serve as primary contact for subcontractors, guiding, clarifying documents, and resolving issues to maintain momentum.
• Ensure completion of full scope of work on time and within budget per QA/QC plan with progress reports.
• Implement and enforce LIFE Safe Work Practices to maintain a safe environment.
• Track production rates, quantities, and milestones to ensure efficient progress.
• Facilitate clear communication among homeowners, subcontractors, and program administrators.
• Manage and mitigate risks to ensure project success and compliance with funding requirements.
