Job summary

Tetra Tech, Inc. is seeking Site Inspectors to support disaster recovery across the United States. The role involves field and virtual inspections of damaged infrastructure and documentation for funding determinations.

You will collaborate with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure accurate data collection and reporting. This on-call, as-needed position requires travel on short notice, strong communication, and the ability to work in varied environments, including disaster

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in building inspection, damage assessments, or related field.
• Experience collecting, documenting, and organizing field data.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency with Office, data collection apps, and cloud platforms.
• Ability to travel on short notice and work independently as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field and desktop inspections of disaster-impacted facilities.
• Document damages to public buildings, roads, bridges, and utilities.
• Capture photos, measurements, and site conditions for recovery funding.
• Prepare and review site inspection reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate visits with stakeholders and travel as required.
