Job summary

Tidal Basin Group is seeking Resource Navigators in Anchorage, AK to assist disaster survivors in accessing essential recovery resources and services. This role supports the State of Alaska Disaster Case Management Program by acting as a crucial link between survivors and available assistance programs.

The ideal candidates will possess strong interpersonal skills, experience in case management, and a knowledge of local service networks. Work involves direct interaction with diverse populations in various environments, including offices and community settings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in case management or community outreach.
• Experience working with individuals experiencing crisis or trauma.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist disaster survivors in identifying recovery resources.
• Educate on disaster recovery services and eligibility requirements.
• Conduct resource navigation to connect survivors with supports.
• Work closely with Disaster Case Managers.
• Maintain accurate records of survivor interactions.
