Job summary

Tetra Tech, Inc. is seeking experienced Cost Estimators to support FEMA Public Assistance and other disaster recovery programs. You will develop accurate cost estimates for infrastructure restoration, emergency work, and permanent work across the United States.

This on-call, as-needed role may be remote, field-based, or hybrid depending on client needs and project requirements. Candidates should bring 2+ years of estimating experience and relevant credentials.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in construction estimating or related field.
• Experience creating conceptual to detailed cost estimates for infrastructure projects.
• Experience estimating labor, equipment, materials, and construction costs.
• Ability to work with cross-disciplinary teams and adapt to field assignments.

Responsibilities

• Support FEMA Public Assistance and other disaster recovery programs with scoping and cost estimating.
• Prepare conceptual, parametric, and bottom-up estimates for restoration projects.
• Review plans and cost documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and program staff to define eligible work.
• Maintain clear, auditable cost documentation.
