Avalore.ai is seeking a Backup Recovery Engineer in Arlington, VA to manage backup and recovery processes and ensure data integrity across systems. You will implement procedures, test restores, and participate in disaster recovery exercises.

The role requires Security Clearance, English proficiency, and Bachelor’s Degree with levels from Junior to Senior depending on experience. On-site environment with travel up to 10% and no visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Junior: 0–3 years of experience + Bachelor's Degree.
• Journeyman: 4–7 years of experience + Bachelor's Degree.
• Senior: 8+ years of experience + Bachelor's Degree.

Responsibilities

• Manage backup and recovery processes and ensure data integrity.
• Implement and maintain backup procedures and disaster recovery/COOP plans.
• Perform daily backup management, verify job completions, and test restores.
• Collaborate with admins to ensure critical data is backed up and participate in DR exercises.
