Job summary

You will coordinate emergency facilities and logistics, manage budgets using CEFMS/P2, and prepare SITREPs and briefings with Power BI and Excel. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

  • GS-07: 1 year of specialized experience in emergency ops plans, SOPs, or continuity documents.
  • GS-09: 1 year developing/updating EOPs or disaster recovery frameworks.
  • GS-11: 1 year EOC administration, budget, and program evaluation experience.

Responsibilities

  • EOC coordination: manage facilities, resources, equipment inventories, status displays; coordinate logistics, personnel deployment, and communications during disasters.
  • Disaster financial management: formulate budgets, monitor accounts, and execute billings using CEFMS/P2.
  • Data analysis & reporting: prepare SITREPs, after-action reports, briefings using Power BI/Excel/EDW.
  • Plan review & policy development: evaluate plans and draft SOPs/policies.
  • Training & exercise management: design/train multi-agency disaster exercises and materials.
  • Interagency liaison: coordinate with FEMA/state/local partners for funding and resources.
  • Program administration: oversee readiness programs including IMA coordination and Family Readiness.
