Job summary

American Red Cross is seeking a Disaster Program Volunteer Engagement role in Texas to support management and leadership across the Victoria/Corpus Christi region. You will guide volunteers, assist with disaster cycle services, and help develop leadership within the volunteer network.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree, at least 3 years in social services or program delivery, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with social services or service/program delivery, or an equivalent combination.
• A current valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Empower Volunteers: Facilitate and support a diverse volunteer team responsible for implementing volunteer-led disaster cycle services.
• Support the Program: Assist with the successful implementation of disaster cycle services activities within the assigned geographic area.
• Monitor, collect and analyze data to improve services to individuals and communities.
• Mission Capacity Building: Engage disaster volunteers who are the primary workforce, representing the communities they serve.
• Ready to Respond: Participate in disaster response operations in the region after training requirements are met.
