Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent. Domestic travel is required.
• 5 years of in-field experience (2 years of in-field experience with a bachelor’s degree).
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a FEMA Badge with background checks.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel 100%.

Responsibilities

• Collects, coordinates and/or reviews applicant data to determine eligibility and priority of assignments.
• Supports communication with applicants about status, scheduling meetings and following up on FEMA requests.
• Coordinates transmittal of documents through FEMA’s Consolidated Resource Centers and schedules site inspections.
• Identifies when technical expertise is needed during the program delivery process.
• Assists with reviewing damage details, scopes of work and costs; participates in FEMA meetings.
• May develop Determination Memo and communicate final determinations during close out; conducts exit briefings.
