Job summary

ICF's Disaster Management Division offers a full-time, 10-week internship that begins in early June 2027. Hybrid work possible from Tallahassee, FL; Baton Rouge, LA; or Austin, TX. We do not provide relocation or housing assistance at this time.

Responsibilities include assisting with grants, reporting, data review, and developing end-to-end data visualizations. Ideal candidates have 30+ college credits in related fields and strong communication, data, and research skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 30 college-level credits with emphasis in Public Policy, Finance, Emergency Management or related field.
• Bachelor's degree and enrollment verification in a graduate program focusing on Public Policy, Finance, Emergency Management or related field preferred.
• Prior internship experience in Disaster Management, FEMA or related area is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist management with grants, reporting, financials and administrative tasks.
• Review data accuracy in documents and systems as part of a team.
• Deliver and support project tasks and timelines.
• Design end-to-end data visualizations and reporting solutions addressing clients' needs.
• Interface with clients and contractors to gather information and communicate deadlines.
• Support case managers and grant administrators through application review and project stages.
• Assist with development of SOPs, checklists and policies.
