Job summary

AlphaGov is seeking an emergency management and disaster community-impact SME to lead or support county/state projects. The role focuses on disaster community impact studies, surveys, stakeholder interviews, and alignment with FEMA/OHSEM frameworks, with remote-first collaboration and occasional on-site travel.

You will produce reports and narratives for proposals, contribute to past-performance content, and work as a 1099/project-based collaborator.

Qualifications

• Hands-on emergency management, disaster recovery, or community impact study delivery for public-sector clients.
• Ability to lead or support mixed-methods community impact assessment and client workshops.
• Comfortable as a 1099 / project-based collaborator with travel as needed for client on-sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support disaster community impact studies and related EM / resilience assessments for county and state clients.
• Design and execute community impact methodologies (household/business surveys, stakeholder interviews, secondary data synthesis).
• Align findings to FEMA/OHSEM or grant-program reporting frameworks where applicable.
• Produce clear reports, recommendations, and presentation materials for emergency management leadership.
• Contribute EM/disaster-impact content and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals (when permissioned).
