Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services is seeking an Investigator II (Temporary, ONA) to perform complex investigative and supervisory work in disaster assistance. Responsibilities include investigating allegations, supervising a team, and coordinating activities. Responsibilities

• Investigates and documents evidence regarding alleged theft or violation.
• Supervises unit/staff, monitoring output and ensuring compliance.
• Develops and maintains accounting systems, controls, policies, and procedures.
• Tracks, monitors, plans, coordinates activities to meet deadlines.
• Serves as liaison for assigned area on complex issues.
• Completes reports/forms to document findings.
• Communicates with others to verify information and resolve complaints.
• Provides instruction and training to staff.
