Job summary

The Maryland Department of Labor seeks a Disabled Veterans Outreach Program / Local Veterans Employment Representative to provide intensive employment services to eligible veterans and veteran spouses with qualifying employment barriers. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• DVOP preference criteria: service-connected disabled veteran, eligible veteran, or eligible person.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with veterans and eligible persons.
• Experience in workforce development, customer service, human resources, or recruiting may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.
• Preferred: one year outreach experience with veterans, six months resume writing experience, or prior case management experience.
