Qualifications

• Related degree fields include Rehabilitation, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Education, Human Resources, or Business Administration.
• Experience in vocational rehabilitation, job placement, job coaching, counseling, or related work supporting adults with disabilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent with four years' relevant employment experience; or an associate's, bachelor's, or master's degree with corresponding experience.
• Knowledge of workforce development, disability employment, job coaching, workplace accommodations, and employment retention practices.
• Skill in assessing individual employment needs, providing training, communicating with diverse stakeholders, documenting services, and resolving workplace barriers.
• Ability to build effective relationships, advocate appropriately, maintain confidentiality, and promote independence and retention.
• Must pass organization screening requirements, including state/federal background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Assist GCE team members with disabilities in maintaining employment.
• Build job-related skills and pursue career advancement for team members.
• Evaluate employment needs and determine appropriate support and accommodations.
• Deliver on-site retention services to promote performance and independence.
• Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and stakeholders to reduce barriers and facilitate placement or transition services.
