Job summary

Samost Jewish Family and Children's Service of Southern New Jersey is seeking High School Job Support Staff for the Bordentown Area. The ideal candidate will have a degree in psychology or related fields or equivalent experience. A valid driver’s license and good communication skills are essential. Competitive pay ranging from $19.00-22.00 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, or a related field or two years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• 18 years or older.
• Computer literacy is necessary.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employers and professional staff.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Self-motivated, reliable and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support for individuals with disabilities within the workplace.
• Advocate for individuals with disabilities in the workplace.
• Monitor client's progress and safety.
• Report progress and concerns to Supervisor/HS Coordinator.
• Attend staff meetings when possible.
• Complete daily progress note documentation.
