Job summary

Samost Jewish Family and Children's Service of Southern New Jersey is hiring a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Cherry Hill Township. Responsibilities include providing one-on-one support, crisis intervention, and collaboration with care teams to foster independence. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma (or equivalent), valid driver's license, and experience in a similar role. Benefits include generous PTO and comprehensive health care coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
• Valid driver's license in New Jersey.
• Clear criminal background check.
• Fully vaccinated for Covid-19.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral and direct care support.
• Collect and record data on individual behavior.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed.
• Advocate for individual health and wellbeing.
