The role! Position: Career Services Skills Instructor. Location: Wakefield, MA | Woburn, MA. Pay rate: $18 per hour. Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday (8am-4pm) / Part-time schedules available.

Summary & Responsibilities. The Career Services Skills Instructor is an integral role in our Day Program Career Services Department that supports Individuals with developmental disabilities to enhance work skills and find employment opportunities.

• Provide direct support and assist individuals in gaining community employment by helping them learn specific skills both in-house and in the community, and developing relationships with area businesses
• Create and participate in community-based activities
• Provide personal care and assistance to individuals consistent with individual needs as they strive to reach their goals

Qualifications

• High School diploma required (BA degree in Human Services or related field preferred)
• At least 1 year of experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities is preferred
• A passion and dedication to supporting our people is a must
• Valid Driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Must pass company background and reference checks
