Qualifications

• Any combination equivalent to an associate degree in education, psychology, counseling, or a related field and two years of experience providing services to individuals with disabilities.
• Experience coordinating intake and services for students with disabilities.
• Ability to train interpreters, tutors, notetakers and other support staff.

Responsibilities

• Process intake interview with new students applying for services and collect documentation.
• Coordinate orientation regarding program guidelines, services, and student responsibilities.
• Coordinate and communicate with staff to determine academic support services.
• Develop and maintain documentation about students and services each semester.
• Provide training and supervision for classroom interpreters and aides.
• Assist in budget development and coordination.
• Coordinate test administration and proctoring services for student needs.
• Participate in meetings and committees; ensure coordination of support services.
• Coordinate services and activities for program participants; assist staff in planning activities.
• Coordinate requests for adaptive furniture and manage inventory each semester.
• Maintain student records and prepare program reports.
