Job summary

Kishwaukee College in Illinois is seeking a Disability Services Student Worker to support daily operations in the Disability Services office. The role includes front desk tasks, assisting with material conversions (Braille, large print, captioning), taking notes for classes, and acting as a classroom assistant for students with disabilities.

The position is part-time, up to 20 hours per week, with morning and late afternoon shifts.

Qualifications

• Confidentiality must be upheld in all duties.
• High school diploma required, some college coursework preferred.
• Experience with people with disabilities preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs.
• General computer knowledge required.
• Ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds and abilities.
