Job summary

Community Options, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse in Dallas, TX to deliver nursing care to individuals with disabilities in a community setting. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care while coordinating with health team members and family to maintain professional nursing standards.

The role involves medications, health monitoring, ISP/PCP collaboration, and training staff on medical needs. A valid RN license and driving ability are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in nursing field.
Minimum of one year of experience providing nursing services to individuals with disabilities.
Valid RN license.
Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
Complete all state and agency required training per state guidelines.

Responsibilities

Provide treatment and health care procedures ordered by a physician.
Ensure individuals attend medical appointments per their ISP.
Attend to health reports and physician recommendations.
Conduct trainings including medication administration and delegation.
Develop and update ISP/PCP with an interdisciplinary team.
