Job summary

The ND Protection and Advocacy Project (P&A) is North Dakota's leading civil rights organization for people with disabilities. This internship offers the opportunity to work on meaningful legal matters and gain experience in federal, state, and administrative law.

You will assist with active cases, meet clients, draft briefs/affidavits, and conduct legal research while developing professional mentorship and policy exposure.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in law school, second year or higher.
• Minimum GPA of 2.5.

Responsibilities

• Perform interesting, challenging work to advance disability rights.
• Assist with active legal cases, meet clients, and prepare briefs/affidavits.
• Conduct legal research, writing, and drafting of documents.
• Gain experience in federal, state, and administrative law.
• Collaborate with professionals statewide and monitor legislation.
