Job summary

Ameritas in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking an actuarial professional to design and manage disability income (DI) product development and oversee complex actuarial analytics for senior management. The role blends on-site collaboration with remote work, supporting FP&A and corporate actuarial teams with risk-adjusted insights.

You will build and validate models, run stress tests, and provide data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science or related field required.
• ASA designation required; FSA/MAAA desirable.
• Actuarial modeling experience with Prophet preferred.
• Proficiency in SQL, VBA, R or Python is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage DI products and initiatives with profitability analysis.
• Run cash flow testing, ORSA, financial planning and modeling projects.
• Design and implement DI product enhancements to achieve results.
• Develop cross-functional partnerships and respond to information requests.
• Perform stress testing and scenario analysis for strategic decisions.
• Create and maintain actuarial models and documentation.
