Job summary

ServiceSource in the United States is seeking an Employment Consultant to deliver community-based employment services for individuals with disabilities. You will assess career options, provide counseling, and help participants pursue opportunities while maintaining regulatory-compliant records.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of 2 years of program development experience. A valid driver's license and strong Microsoft Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, or related Human Services field and at least 2 years of related experience in program development and training with individuals with disabilities.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for work-related travel; good motor vehicle record (MVR).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn corporate software and processes.
• Detail-oriented, self-starter, and able to develop service plans for individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide job exploration counseling with a standardized, timed assessment and generate a report.
• Build and maintain relationships with participants, their support networks, and funding sources; document thorough reports.
• Develop relationships with current and potential employers for opportunities.
• Maintain files to meet regulatory standards.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized service plans including skills training, pre-employment training, job development and coaching.
• Assist in marketing activities by submitting stories for social media and newsletters and creating materials.
• Participate in community activities and provider events.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
