Job summary

Management & Training Corporation (MTC) seeks a dedicated specialist to implement and supervise Individual Accommodation Plans for students at the Tongue Point Job Corps Center in Astoria, OR. You will work with the IDT to assess needs, prepare materials, and maintain accommodation records.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree with related experience, strong communication, and a valid driver’s license. The role emphasizes youth services, disability collaboration, and program compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience developing Individual Accommodation Plans (IAP's) for clients with mental health, physical, and learning disability, and experience developing linkages with disability and mental health agencies
• Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency required
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the accommodation review process by reviewing Job Corps applicant files for possible health, mental health, physical, drug and alcohol, or educational accommodations
• Coordinate with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to identify accommodations needed. Provide applicant materials to IDT members for review and ensure the review process is thorough and appropriate
• Set up and maintain accommodation files. Monitor, track, and follow up on the effectiveness of accommodations
• Make determination if accommodation is reasonable or not for facility to provide
• Adjust accommodations when needed. Reconvene the IDT periodically to develop more effective accommodations for individual students as necessary.

Whatyou will be doing:

QUALIFICATIONS, REQUIRED AND REQUESTED SKILLS:

• Directly related experience may be substituted for education requirements
• Experience developing Individual Accommodation Plans (IAP's) for clients with mental health, physical, and learning disability, and experience developing linkages with disability and mental health agencies
• Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency required
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
