• Excellent oral and written communication; PC literate including Microsoft Office.
• Analytical, organized, and able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Makes claim determinations to approve non-complex disability claims or recommends denial.
• Determines benefits due and processes timely payments and adjustments.
• Explains required documentation and timelines to claimants by phone or written correspondence.
• References cases to team lead and maintains professional client relationships.
• Supports the organization's quality program and performs other duties as assigned.
