Job summary

YMCA of South Alabama seeks a Program Director to provide leadership, development, administration, and oversight of Youth Services and Child Watch programs in Foley, AL. The role ensures safe, high-quality, mission-driven programs that meet community needs and YMCA priorities.

The Director will supervise staff, manage risks, develop programs, and support partnerships to strengthen the community and member experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in recreation, education, child development, business administration, nonprofit management, or a related field preferred.
• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, implement, supervise, and evaluate assigned YMCA programs and services.
• Provide direct oversight of Youth Services programs, including before- and after-school programs, school-age childcare, day camps, and holidays.
• Provide direct oversight of Child Watch operations, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for children and families.
