Job summary

Rhode Island College seeks a dynamic Director of Professional Studies and Continuing Education (PSCE) to lead innovative continuing, professional, online, adult, and workforce programs responding to regional needs. The role focuses on budgeting, program development, and external partnerships to expand access and impact in workforce education.

The Director reports to the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs and oversees campus and Workforce Development Hub programming, with a strong emphasis on

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required.
• Five years of managerial experience and program development at the college/university level.

Responsibilities

• Direct administration and management of PSCE budgets, grants, contracts, and staff.
• Lead development and annual forecasting of PSCE budgets and program data.
• Oversee MIS functions to support access and program operations for PSCE.
• Coordinate grants, proposals, and external partnerships.
• Supervise payrolls, hiring, and student/temporary staff for PSCE.
