Job summary

Rhode Island College seeks an Associate Director of the Sherlock Center to join its leadership team, shaping statewide impact and inclusive communities. The role oversees operations, supervision, program planning, evaluation, and fiscal stewardship to advance services for individuals with disabilities.

The Associate Director partners with the Executive Director to execute the five-year plan, build collaborations, and guide employment and support initiatives, ensuring high-quality program

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of program administrative experience in the area of intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Experience managing budgets and contracts; experience with grants.
• Strong leadership, staff development, and collaboration across multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee operations, including staff supervision and program planning.
• Monitor, evaluate, and report on the UCEDD’s five-year work plan.
• Develop and manage service contracts and/or grants; ensure fiscal integrity.
