The position requires an Associates degree with a Bachelor's degree preferred, and the ability to perform under pressure with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree required.

• BLS certification is required.
• AWHON credential is relevant.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards.
• Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, IT, service levels and complaint management.
• Plans staffing activities: hiring, orientation, evaluation, discipline, and continuing education.
• Prepares, monitors, and evaluates the departmental budget and ensures compliance with funding.
• Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.
• Creates an environment that fosters professional growth.
• Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
• Acts as a resource for obstetrical and/or neonate concerns.

Directs Women's Services activities and resources to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
• Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
• Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
• Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding.
• Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.
• Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
• Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
• Acts as resource for staff regarding obstetrical concerns and/or neonate concerns.

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree Required
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred
