Job summary

Pearce is seeking a Director of Wind MCE to lead strategic planning, team leadership, and performance across the U.S. wind energy service portfolio.

You will own the P&L for the MCE division, develop annual plans, forecast budgets, and drive profitability while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with the VP of Wind and senior leaders to advance wind energy initiatives, build key customer relationships, and expand service offerings across North America.

Your Impact

As Director, Wind MCE (Major Component Exchange) you will be instrumental in helping Pearce set the worldwide standard of service excellence for the maintenance, repair, and upgrade of renewable energy infrastructure. You will be responsible for strategic planning, team leadership, all key operational and financial metrics as well as the operating rhythm and rigor as well as ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. The Director will work closely with the Vice President of Wind and other senior leaders to drive the company's wind energy initiatives forward.

Core Responsibilities

• Champion a culture of safety and quality across all MCE projects and teams.
• Own the P&L for the MCE division, ensuring sustained profitability and growth.
• Develop and execute the annual business plan, forecasts, and budgets in alignment with the overall Wind Services strategy.
• Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, service offerings, and strategic partnerships to expand MCE capabilities.
• Monitor financial performance, job costing, and key metrics to ensure operational and financial targets are met.
• Ensure compliance with company, customer, and industry safety standards and regulations.
• Continuously assess risk and implement mitigation strategies to push for zero recordables
• Drive operational rigor through standardized reporting, KPIs, and performance reviews.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, OEMs, and partners to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.

Core Experience

• 10+ years of experience in the renewable energy industry with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Bachelor's degree in Renewable Energy, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred
• Proven experience managing teams and large-scale wind energy projects
• Strong understanding of wind turbine technology, operations, and maintenance
• Ability to build positive cross-functional relationships and influence and negotiate with clear communication
• Excellent financial acumen and budgeting skills with a sound understanding of P&L Management
• Proficiency in using data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement across the services line
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple complex situations, deliver under pressure, and adapt quickly to evolving business needs
