Job summary

H2O Innovation Inc. seeks a Director of Project Construction to lead design review, procurement, bidding, and field execution for water and wastewater facilities.

This role requires oversight of budgets, schedules, and safety, with the owner’s representative function across large-scale projects on the East Coast. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in construction management for water infrastructure, CCM or PE certification, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in construction management and field operations for water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Certifications such as CCM or PE preferred.
• Knowledge of water and wastewater construction principles and technologies.
• Ability to travel >50%.

Responsibilities

• Manage preconstruction activities, including design review, procurement, and bidding.
• Oversee QA/QC programs and project delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Serve as owner's representative, overseeing program execution with value-added approach.
• Lead meetings with progress updates to stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate construction risks and control costs.
• Collaborate with business development to create proposals and marketing materials.
• Ensure timely invoicing and cost reporting for projects.
• Develop, mentor, and manage field teams; ensure safety compliance.
• Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
