Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a Director of Warehouse Strategy to drive the enterprise WMS roadmap and optimization across the distribution network. The role partners with Operations, Technology, Engineering, and Finance to design scalable warehouse capabilities that improve throughput, inventory accuracy, and labor efficiency.

Responsibilities include owning the WMS strategic roadmap, defining future-state workflows, evaluating automation, and building ROI cases for capital investments.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a related discipline required.
• 9+ years of experience in related field with management responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Owns the enterprise WMS strategic roadmap, prioritization, modernization, and configuration.
• Designs future-state warehouse workflows across receiving, replenishment, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Leads cross-functional teams across Operations, Technology, Engineering, and Finance.
• Evaluates warehouse automation and software solutions to align with WMS architecture.
• Coordinates vendor negotiations and price changes with major vendors.
• Builds business cases and ROI models to support capital investments.
• Establishes governance, testing protocols, and change management for WMS upgrades.
• Monitors KPIs and delivers insights and executive dashboards to senior leadership.
