Position: Director/VP of Sales

Reporting to the CEO, this role focuses on engaging and securing new business contracts with insurance carriers in the U.S. and Canada, and sales to large claims companies. Responsibilities include prospect engagement, aligning PLNAR's solutions with customer needs, managing sales cycles, and achieving revenue targets to expand market share in InsurTech. The successful candidate will help clients envision new solutions and build strong relationships.

Candidates should be prepared to provide 2-3+ years of verifiable sales track record with specific quota attainment.

Responsibilities
  • Win new business among top-tier P&C carriers and upsell existing accounts
  • Sell into large adjusting, mitigation, and claims services companies
  • Act as a sales expert and support senior leadership on strategic issues
  • Build relationships with key decision makers, including C-level executives
  • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline
  • Use Salesforce to track account status and sales activities
  • Forecast bookings accurately
  • Develop strategies for new account acquisition
  • Collaborate on marketing and outreach activities
  • Stay informed on sales strategies and industry trends
Requirements
  • 5-7+ years of sales experience selling software/services to property insurance industry
  • Consistent achievement of $1M+ quotas annually
  • Knowledge of property claims/underwriting workflows and experience selling at executive levels
  • Experience in small, agile tech companies
  • Proficiency with Salesforce
  • Adaptability and strategic thinking
  • Strong communication and relationship skills
  • Qualities: curiosity, empathy, integrity, high EQ, self-starter, proactive attitude
