Job summary

Blue Cross NC seeks a Director of Value Based Care Operations & Execution to lead the operational delivery of value-based care programs across the enterprise. You will ensure programs are implemented effectively, barriers are resolved, and teams are aligned to measurable outcomes tied to enterprise goals.

You will partner with performance, finance, and strategy teams while owning execution accountability and operational delivery in a federated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience (or 12+ years without a degree) in related fields.
• Strong track record delivering value-based care programs and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of value-based care programs across enterprise.
• Drive cross-functional delivery and accountability for timelines and outcomes.
• Resolve operational barriers and ensure program readiness and governance.
• Establish workflows, reporting, and alignment with contracts and financial goals.
• Oversee provider engagement and initiative execution to improve delivery.
• Partner with analytics to translate insights into operational changes.
• Prioritize initiatives across enterprise and manage escalation for issues.
• Build and lead a team responsible for VBC program operations and delivery.
