Job summary

Vertex Inc. is seeking a Director of FP&A, Value Architecture, to lead development of the value case for AI transformation initiatives.

You will define value hypotheses, KPIs, and measurement approaches, and partner with Digital, Technology, Engineering, Finance, and Portfolio Strategy to ensure credible, grounded value cases. You will guide planning, forecasting, and governance, ensuring alignment with budgets and long-range plans, while tracking realized value and informing investment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, engineering, strategy, or related field is required.
• MBA or master's in economics/analytics preferred.
• 10+ years in value management, strategic finance, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Define value hypothesis, KPIs, and measurement for each initiative.
• Develop and maintain value architecture standards and methods.
• Analyze trends, risks, and KPIs to improve forecast accuracy.
• Provide evidence for portfolio-level value reporting and investment decisions.
• Lead/coach Value Architects embedded in delivery teams.
