Job summary

Vertex Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Senior Director/Director to lead the Value Realization Office processen and ensure measurable outcomes for transformational initiatives in Boston. You will partner with project owners, Finance, and DTE to establish baselines and reporting approaches while monitoring value delivery against objectives.

The role requires governance setup, cross-functional leadership, and strong financial planning capabilities, with eligibility for annual bonus and equity awards.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in finance, strategic planning, transformation, or PMO leadership.
• Experience building governance structures, reporting cadences, and measurable outcomes.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and executive support skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of the Value Realization Framework for major initiatives.
• Define success metrics, baselines, and reporting to enable credible value measurement.
• Facilitate intake, scoping, and governance for initiatives and scorecards.
• Escalate risks and variances; support corrective actions and re-baselining.
• Ensure consistent value measurement practices across functions.
