Job summary

The University of Texas at Arlington is seeking a position to manage the TRIO Student Support Services Program (SSS). This role coordinates services within the Division of Student Success while adhering to federal standards and university policies.

The successful candidate will oversee grant objectives, budget, records, and staff who deliver tutoring and advising services to first‑generation students. Domestic travel and occasional extended hours may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of experience with grant programs, coaching, mentoring or advising students.
• Or 9 years of an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Executes objectives of awarded grant narrative.
• Budget management in collaboration with Business Operations Manager.
• Manages student records, program documentation, and program evaluation as outlined in the grant application.
• Hire, supervise, train, and evaluate staff.
• Represent the Division of Student Success in support of first-generation endeavors.
