State of South Carolina is seeking a Director to supervise planning and implementation of TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) and TRIO Talent Search programs. The role ensures compliance with federal and institutional guidelines and monitors budgets for both programs.

The Director will design procedures to improve college retention, persistence, and graduation, and will select and supervise personnel while ensuring EPMS for classified staff is completed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and experience in student services programs.
• Master's degree in education, administration, counseling, social work, or related field.
• Three years' experience working with disadvantaged populations.
• Experience in higher education, TRIO programs, staff supervision, program administration and evaluation, grant management, and budget management.

Responsabilités

• Oversees planning and implementation of TRIO SSS and TRIO Talent Search activities.
• Ensures compliance with federal and institutional guidelines.
• Designs procedures to meet objectives for college retention and graduation.
• Leads budget monitoring for both programs.
• Selects, trains, and supervises project personnel.
• Develops records systems and accurate budgets for both programs.
• Coordinates reporting to the Department of Education.
• Arranges workshops and professional development for staff.
• Performs EPMS for classified employees.
