Your Impact As Director of Treasury Capital Markets, you will shape Newmont’s global financial strategy by leading capital markets activities, identifying financial risks, and implementing solutions that strengthen our balance sheet. Your work will help safeguard the company’s liquidity, optimize capital structure, and support enterprise decision-making at the highest level.
As Part of Our Team, You Will Lead strategy and execution across debt, equity, and capital market transactions.
Identify and mitigate financial risks (FX, interest rates, commodities) through strategic planning.
Act as subject matter expert in liability management, hedging, and derivatives.
Partner with internal and external stakeholders including rating agencies and financial institutions.
Oversee compliance and reporting for credit facilities and debt obligations.
Deliver clear insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on market trends and financial analysis.
Mentor a Financial Analyst and collaborate across multiple finance functions.
Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (Master’s preferred)
Strong experience in treasury, capital markets, or corporate finance
In-depth knowledge of capital markets, hedging strategies, and financial risk management
Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, PowerPoint, and market tools like Bloomberg
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments with external partners and senior executives

The salary range offered for this role is USD $175,950 - 246,330. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and / or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.
This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance. This role also will be eligible for participation in a discretionary long-term incentive program, pursuant to which an employee may receive awards based on their level and individual performance.
